Moore sits on flat terrain over the same expansive clay base found across the metro. The flat terrain that makes Moore an easy build also makes drainage the most important detail on any patio against a house wall.

On Moore patios we grade a minimum 1/8" per foot slope away from the foundation, install a sealed isolation joint where the slab meets the house, and time sawcut control joints within 24 hours so shrinkage cracks land where we want them.
